Good News from the North

No action from the Ditch to report today. Judging by the repeat of yesterdays weather today, I'm sure there wasn't much going on. However, reports from Santee and Niobrara say ducks by the thousands the last 5 or so days. One report heard was that a group of hunters around Niobrara indicated success of over 140 ducks in a couple days. In other reports, hunters heading to Santee after hearing of large numbers of birds migrating into the area. Nothing but good news for us guys to the South. The South Ditch reported just one in the bag for the day, one rabbitt that is, that popped out in front of the DukMaster's truck on the drive down. Nothing moving but decoys in preparation for the North Winds and fronts to be moving through Thursday and Friday. That's all for now, tomorrows report will hopefully have some success. See you then.
