Migratory Bird Season has Begun

Hello again all my technologically advanced and well connected waterfowl enthusiast friends. Welcome to Muck Bottom Outfitters Waterfowl Report. Waterfowl is a bit "loose" for todays report, but "migratory bird" oughta do it. The first day of dove season began yesterday. Along with 13 boxes of shells and one lamed robo-dove came a 5 man limited, 75 doves. Not real sure how the robo got "lit" up but the wings now have holes in them. The morning was pretty much a bust. All the moisture in the air and the dew on the plants kept most doves hunkered in the weeds for all the water they needed. Night-time, totally different story! Kaboom! Even though the wrecking crew was a few Muck Bottom boys short, they still manged to have a great day.

This weekend is opening weekend for all of you who manage to hunt south of Hwy 30. Sounds like the boys at the Hay Ditch will be out Saturday and fully expect to be done with their Honker limit by 9AM.

Waterfowl Wizard Wrote:
"Not So, looks like me, D-Master and others will be goin out in shorts and t-shirts on Saturday near the Hay Ditch. We expect to have 20 piled up by 0900 (early season alows 5 in the bag). I'll see if Sillo sock man will video tape."

We all expect to have report and footage when it's over so hopefully they'll pile 'em up and all of us unfortunate hunters North of Hwy 30 can salivate. That's all for now. Check back for the latest and greatest and as always, thanks for all the hits! Don't forget we're goin' global.
