First Official E-Mail Report

Hello again all my technologically advanced and well connected waterfowl enthusiast friends. Welcome to Muck Bottom Outfitters Waterfowl Report. We have officially recieved our first emailed report and pictures to go along with it. Welcome to the report Leshara Ditch. Our new friends hunt by Leshara about 1 mile off the Platte River. I've had a chance to hunt that-a-way a few times and let me tell you, when the ducks are here there is almost no better place to be! Our friend from the new Ditch sent along the follwing reports all wrapped up in one good email with plenty of pic's.

Sept 13 - Had the pleasure of Sure Shot, Sr. today with me and the guys. Not much around, but we did unload on a group of 40 teal after the fog cleared and dropped 11.

Sept 12 - Overcast skies and temp around 60 lots of teal and large ducks around. We had our 2-man limits in 20 minutes. If we would've had more guns, we could have shot 6 limits. The teal kept buzzing 'til around 9AM.

Sept 5 - 50 Degrees and foggy didn't see any teal but did see some puddle ducks and wood ducks. Saw one group of local geese flipping around but to far to call at.
Sept 6 - Foggy day 50 degrees . We dusted 2 teal right away and the fog was almost unbarable. Right as it began to clear away we had 20 more come screamin' in and took 5, should have shot more.

Labor Day - Foggy and 50's another limit of teal.

It seems that our new friends can shoot a bit. There were 4 guys there today and they dropped 11 out of one bunch. That's some good shootin', but why wouldn't it be, Sure Shot SR was there! He taught me everything I know. You can see all the pic's from Leshara Ditch, as well as all other reports pic's, at the bottom of the blog under 2009 Sites. Thanks for the reports and keep 'em coming. That's all for now, check back for the latest and greatest and thanks for all the hits. Send us your reports.
