Late Start

A 2PM late hunt on Monday and nothing. Just a couple of shots fired. Kicked off a large number of teal, gadwall and a few pintail from the pond. Good to see some bigger ducks flipping around. Zero birds in the bag for today. It was an unscheduled trip to the ditch so the expectations were minimal. Thought a few more birds would have been visible after the rain ended, figured they'd been sitting tight all morning, but not the case. Next hunt tomorrow AM hoping for the morning caos of teal to sharpen our shooting.
